Description
This course block shows information about highest grades in a course on some grade item. It was created on the base of quiz results block, but instead of quiz results it shows information about any grades in a course: course item grades, grade category results or whole course grades. Block title, header and footer can be changed in settings as well as grade item to show and other settings.

Vlas - Thanks for contributing this block which I have added to cvs (http://cvs.moodle.org/contrib/plugins/blocks/course_results/). Please take a moment to review [[Development:Guidelines_for_contributed_code]] to make sure that all of the steps have been followed. Please go to http://moodle.org/cvs/ and request CVS write access for contrib/plugins/blocks/course_results so that you can keep the block updated. Keep in mind that for the download link in the Modules and Plugins database you will be able to change that to http://download.moodle.org/download.php/plugins/blocks/course_results.zip which will be automatically generated every 24 hours with any changes that you make to CVS. That way you do not have to worry about recreating the zip file and keeping it up to date. You may want to consider adding a README.txt file just to describe the functionality of the block and installation instructions (this is optional but might be a good way to test your CVS access). I have bumped your privileges in the tracker and created a component (Block: Course results) for which you are the component lead. That means that any bugs, feature requests, etc. that users create will automatically be assigned to you. Your increased privileges are so that you can manage those issues. Keep in mind when committing changes to CVS, it is customary for us to begin the commit comment with the tracker number so that it automatically gets linked back to the issue which is really helpful in terms of documentation about how a particular has been resolved and why changes were made to the code. Feel free to put out a request for others to help with translations and to let folks know about this in the Moodle.org forums. Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for sharing the code and more importantly your time and talent with the Moodle community. Peace - Anthony
