Merge with Quick course list & include thumbnail?

Description

This block along with the quick find block are really useful to our users.
Upon discussion with a colleague I thought I would float a couple of things that we think would make the blocks even better:
1) A merged version of the Quick course & Quick user search block - this would take up less real estate on the screen
2) When returning results to include a small thumbnail of the user next to their name

I'm not a php coder so am not sure how feasible or practical these enhancements would be to implement.

These sound reasonable; not sure quite how to deal with turning 2 blocks into 1 though. Maybe something to look at when you get some time?

I dont think merging the two is sensible. They work in similar ways but do different things, so having them as 2 separate blocks makes good sense.

The thumbnails idea is a definite possibility - I've added it to the GitHub Issue Tracker https://github.com/marxjohnson/moodle-block_quickfindlist/issues/5
