Search in phpmyadmin doesn't work

Description

Using phpmyadmin on moodle.org (assuming it's latest version!) I found that the search function no longer works i.e. click the search tab, fill in one or more values then click the Go button - nothing happens.

Was looking for recent phpMyAdmin issues and arrived here. Perhaps you should consider, while looking at this, to do it in a newer version. See CONTRIB-2789

phpMyAdmin module uses version 3.3.10 of phpMyAdmin. I've found that searches work OK with vanilla phpMyAdmin v3.3.9.2 downloaded directly from upstream.

I am sorry, we can not support this plugin because it relies on register globals that is absolutely incompatible with any Moodle version, sorry. Please use the standard phpMyAdmin installation instead.

The problem is that phpmyadmin is not compatible with moodle code at all, I am working on a different kind of integration that will ask you for a username and password instead of the current single-sign-on.
