Description
Imagine you are in a class room and want to apply the Metaplan method (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaplan).
Usually you need cards, pens, boards etc. pp.
But in a computer room or when most students have laptops - you should be able to apply the Metaplan method computer based.
So basically you need this functionality:
Imagine a class room situation.
1) teacher starts a Metaplan board providing a theme and a description
2) students fill out "cards" and deliver them to the teacher (no students is able to see the cards of other students)
3) teacher can present cards to all students and attach them to an existing (or newly created) "category"
4) when all cards are gone teacher initiates "rating": every students can assign some "points" to the different categories - valueing the importance of the specific category
5) teacher closes the board (no more contributions or rating can be made) and presents it to all students as a result to the process.
6) the board can be exported as a picture and an XML file representing the structure theme, category, cards per category
The same procedure can be used in a long distance learning environment in real time.
I can provide a more detailed specifications if there is anybody out there willing to program this ![]()
Peter - Might you be able to explain how this would be different than using either the choice (for a single question) or feedback (for multiple questions) modules? It sounds like either of these might be able to do what you are requesting. Peace - Anthony
