Peter - Might you be able to explain how this would be different than using either the choice (for a single question) or feedback (for multiple questions) modules? It sounds like either of these might be able to do what you are requesting. Peace - Anthony
Anthony - the Metaplan technique is used to digg for the "secret knowledge" of the paricipants. So here is a more detailed description:
first: writing cards and delivering them to the teacher is not covered by any other module - except the database module second: the grouping of the cards by categories - according to the results of discussions with the students cannot be done by an existing module (as far as I know) third: the rating could be done bei one of the question modules - but the teacher would have to create a question from the categories ... and so breaking up the flow of information fourth: the export of the final result is not supported ... If this does not convince you (and others) I can describe the Metaplan technique in more details ... Thank you for asking, Peter. Peter - Thanks for an introductory explanation. I'm afraid I know nothing about the metaplan technique so the more information you can provide the better. Coming up with a clear design and being able to explain the goals of the project will be helpful. I find that case scenarios work well in describing how a teacher could use such an activity. Then you identify what information in the teacher inputs to create a metaplan and what the students do to interact with it, and then the desired results. Conceptually I am an intuitive on the Myers Briggs typologies so I look to understand the big picture first and then move to details. Gradually we can help spec this out and then see what is involved in doing it. What possible resources might you have for getting someone to work on developing the code for this? Peace - Anthony
