Olli - Could you explain more what this issue is about? I think it might be better to specify which browsers and features you may be concerned about. A little more detail could go a long way. Also, I think we should set these up so that they are auto-assigned to you as part of the GSOC work. Peace - Anthony
Anthony: Oh, sorry. I basically wanted to leave this part open for discussion for now and selected 'automatic' from the participant list. I will add some explanation.
The code produced will be standards-compliant and I will test it at least with Firefox 3, Konqueror, IE 6 and Opera, since those are the ones I have easy access to. The main question for me is that it is unclear to me, what browsers Moodle is required to support explicitly; i.e. what does it have to be tested with before allowing it to go to HEAD. Olli - No need to apologize. I figured this was one of those issues that made sense to you and now it makes more sense to me what you are trying to do. Should we create a component for you to group together any issues related to your GSOC project? Peace - Anthony
Ouch, seems I have not replied you here. I am not sure if a component will be much use at this point, subtasks seem to have been enough so far. Or what do you see as the benefits?
Unit testing was done by Tim at
Confirmed: the question bank window is by default closed to a user who has not used it. Testing needs to be done on Safari, IE7 and; all supported browsers besides IE6, Firefox 3, Opera 9.27, which I have tested on Ubuntu Linux (IE6 via wine). Browser testing moved to MDL-17284.
Discussion about the feature set of the new UI seems to have quieted down. |
