Description

Moodle Folks,

I am running Moodle 1.8 and uploaded the free Moodle Demo Course provided by Martin

http://moodle.org/course/view.php?id=34

But the SCORM Packages section listing Exe and RELOAD do not seem to work. If you click on either of them and then try to click one of the exersizes - it does not work and I get "Sorry, the requested file could not be found" (have also attached an image of this message that I get). You can view an image on the Forum posting I made for this earlier as well at:

http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=73099

Sorry for the newbie question, but do we need to upload a module or add anything to get the SCORM stuff to work?

Thanks in advance,

Bob

I had also the same problem but it was fixed when updating the SCORM modules, I re-linked the files in the scorm directory even if the "Course package" field was pointing to the correct files. Most possible it needs re-establishing a link because the previous link (before uploading) was pointing to the original server structure. Maybe a solution for permanent solution is links to be estabblished in "relative" format (e.g. /localhost/.../scorm/SCORM_filename.zip).

In my case is I'm using the freshly released 1.9 and the scorm does not work. I tried to relink it using the full dev server url but it keeps on saying there some problem with the link I provided

Bob, thanks for reporting this issue, and Dan thanks for fixing it

I tested with the latest 1.9.2+ and 1.8.6+ and found that, after updating and saving the SCORM activity, everything worked fine.
