Description
if there were more than 100 user take a quiz at same time, the server may crash down and no one can access it.
The server has no other application run on it. Both apache and db connections has been set up to a large value(200).
Is this a bug or anyone know how to set up a high performance server?
This is not a sensible task to put in the tracker.
Running any system on a particular piece of hardware, with a particular operating system, if you try with enough simultaneous users at it, it will crash.
And it is not good saying 'Examine performance'. There is no limit to the amount and type of performance testing one could do.
The correct place to start this sort of discussion is in the quiz forum: http://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?f=121. If you search, you will find it has been talked about before.
When a specific performance issues has been identified, then is the time to create a tracker issue.
