 Description  « Hide
I am using TinyMCE as the editor. I have a quiz that 8 students have completed that I need to mark. Therefore, the editor should appear 8 times on the page. However, it is loaded 64 times. 8 times for each one of the 8 instances. When there are supposed to be two instances of the editor on the page, it appears 4 times, 2 times for each of the 2. Obviously some instruction is getting sent more than one time.

This only seems to occur in the essay question manual grading mode, so I am reassigning to Tim as this probably is not an editor issues per se. The editor works in multiple instances in a student's view of a quiz.

I should add this does not happen when a student views a page with multiple essay questions on it, only in essay question mode.

I've increased the priority of this bug as it makes it impossible to correct essays-if there are supposed to be 20 editors on the page-it increases them to 400 and causes the browser to crash!

It also is occurring on the resource editing page.

This is not a quiz-specific bug, it is a TinyMCE one, and I have not clue how to solve it, so reassigning to the default person for editor bugs.

Not even a TinyMCE bug but it sounds like TinyMCE is not properly integrated.

Is the version number on this bug right? - 1.65? - is it fixed in 1.7 or 1.8?

Dan

It's still an issue in 1.7.3.

This is fixed in the next version (2.0), with TinyMCE.

Can you confirm which editor you are using in 1.7? Is it htmlarea or tinymce? ...and most important, is it still happening?

If it's tinymce, which version of it? ..and Is it happening with htmlarea as well?
