Description

On home page and main course pages, as soon as I turn editing on, course topic sections after section 0 disappear. Page source shows no code beyond that point. Turn editing off and sections re-appear. Similar behaviour on main home page.

Problems exhibits with all the browsers I've tried (Mac Firefox, Netscape, Sfari, Opera). It persists no matter which theme is used (including Standard).

The comparable home page behaviour is exhibited when front page is set to have topic section. Topic section and blocks still appear when editing is turned on, but other center sections do not.

Also on Internet Explorer 7 and firefox 2.0.0.7 under XP.
No more "quit edition" button on home page.
It's rather blocking as it is impossible to add anything to a course...

These two issues, as well as a couple of closed ones (MDL-9360 and MDL-9355) deal with the same symptom (parts of pages disappearing when editing is turned on) and they all seem to be caused by improper removal of non-standard modules or blocks, as I pointed out as a hunch in http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=69176#p344981, but YZ came to the same conclusion four months earlier when he closed MDL-9360, and perhaps also PS around the same time when he closed MDL-9355, although not stated as explicitly or generally.

RLE

EDIT: P.S. DC's comment pointed me to the long discussion from two months ago which reminded me of my own post in it, mentioned above. I also found MK's post from April mentioning the three other tracker issues I am mentioning (and linking) here.

It looks like it was the "Questionnaire" module that was badly updated that caused my problem.
Now it works fine.
Sorry for this false alert.
