the ODS plugin exports to the OpenDocument spreadsheet format. OpenOffice.org Calc is one of several programs ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenDocument_software_comparison) that supports the format. It's incorrect to call it the OpenOffice format and inconsistent too.
I think it would be best to just call it "OpenDocument" (spreadsheet is implied).
