Description
When assignments are graded, the student is notified right away (If I understand correctly). What is needed is a two or more step grading system so that the teacher may make one pass to grade the assignments, and then a second pass to verify that the results are not duplicated or plagarized. I think every large assignment I have found examples of plagarism.
Don't know whether this is the same Lars is talking about but a request from some of our teachers goes like this: In a large group with several tutors assessing students' submissions as they arrive, it would be helpful to be able to release the grades and the assessments only after a certain date that could be set up in the assignment settings. This two-pass process should prevent plagiarism in its simplest – but fairly common – form, i.e. sharing the tutors' comments among the students before some/many of them has submitted their assignment.
