I am of two minds about this. I help moderate the plugins database, and there are about 250 entries. I have to literally scroll through every single entry to find those that have changed since I can't search for "recently changed" (only recently added). A far greater number of my "approvals" relate to changed items than newly added items.
So in some respects, I like this idea of people being able to edit their own entries without losing the "approved" status. But in a classroom, that is less likely to be the case. I would have situations where I want to review ANY changes by students because database activities is a graded assignment. Besides, my databases are usually not nearly so big! Perhaps there could be some "switch" that allows the instructor/owner of the activity to allow for editing or keep the default behavior?
