Description

When you try to view a pdf resource with internet explorer 7 with acrobat plugin < 8 nothing is shown.
I can't test it with previous version of IE.

I think that the problem is that in versions prior 1.8.4+ resources were not embedded in an object when they are shown in the same page without frameset but they were downloaded.

Can we come back ?

Hi bobo - we're seeing issues with pdfs created by Cutepdf and viewed with Acrobat 6 - acrobat 7 seems to fix it..... - what are you using for pdf creation?

Hi Dan,
I don't know the tool used for pdf creation. I think they use several tools because my teachers work in several faculty and they had the same problem.

I solved it by set the embeded to false for pdf files in moodle/mod/resource/type/file/resource.class.php

Now pdf file are always downloaded without problems.
