 Description  « Hide
In Moodle 1.8 there is Grade exceptions tab under grade. The tab is easy to use and very intuitive.
However in 1.9 there is no tab for this function. And it is hard to get the same functions as Grade exceptions. The solution I found is that I have to manually input 0 in some student results who are excepted from some activities.

I'd like to suggest either put the same function in 1.9 or some assingments/quizes can be assigned to specific group and automatically assign 0 to students who are in that group.

You can Exclude grades from aggregation in grade edit form - little edit icon next to each grade.

I believe that we need to bring back bulk Grade Exception interface, so it will be a separate tab (dropdown) again.

Assigning this to Nicolas, for his consideration/comments.

Can this please become a part of MDL-18083 ?
Our instructors use bulk exceptions in 1.8 a lot for various reasons, and since 1.9 is lacking this feature it would take them literally hours to do so. Thus, we consider it to be a major show stopper.

Any progress toward the "bulk exceptions" that Elena describes. Very important feature. I also think that by default, any item that is specifically assigned to one grouping should automatically be excluded from other groupings grade view and calculations. Thanks for an update. I am hopeful this will be part of v1.9.5 as this really limits any use of groupings/groups.

Agree on comments above/prior, particularly need for bulk exceptions tool. Also currently, (1.9.5) doesn't allow for exceptions when using "Sum of Grades" aggregation. Hopeful both of these features will change.
