Selected user's membership would appear to have been introduced in MDL-12991.
I've tried every groups/grouping permutation I can think of but nothing displays in that column.
Does it work? If yes, any chance of a few hints about this undocumented feature? :-)

"Selected user's membership" in groups interface - does it work?
that functionality seems to be working perfectly in my tests servers. Just go to any course with groups created, press the "Groups" link and in all the lists where users are showed, they are grouped under the role they have in the course.
What do you get?
