Journal grades disappear after upgrade to 1.9

Description

After upgrade to 1.9, all grades for Journal activity disappeared. Columns still are in place, but all grades gone. Seems similar to this issue: http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=93412

Same thing for us. We are trying to get upgrade running for the start up of school. Lot's of profs use journal as "learning logs" will really squawk if they can't incentive students to participate with some nominal grades to the gradebook. The grades still exist in the assignment, but just don't pull into the gradebook.

journal module was discontinued long ago, that is why full grading support was not implemented - sorry
you can use the "Synchronise legacy grades" from "Edit categories and items" gradebook plugin

The journal2assignment script converts all existing journals to online text assignments and converts their grades to the new gradebook.
