External Document Link Visible To Students/Guests

Description

If viewing participants is turned off for a particular role and if that role tries to view participants then the following is displayed:

Sorry, but you do not currently have permissions to do that (View participants)

More information about this error (this is the link pointing to http://docs.moodle.org/en/error/moodle/nopermissions )

This link to moodle docs is displayed even though that role is not supposed to show external links.

Sorry Manish... that link is about to show the Docs information corresponding to the error. Nothing related with course permissions nor anything else.

What are you suggesting, to avoid that link to Docs? Why?

I was under the impression that if moodle/site:doclinks is not allowed in Roles then no off site docs links would be shown to the Roles applicable and that is why I thought it could be a bug. But, now it appears that the link given by the error message as referred earlier is not related to doclinks but is related to docroot (Site Administration > Moodle Docs) which I have verified.

Yup, errors aren't filtered by 'moodle/site:doclinks' . Only footer calls on each page are.
