Description

See http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/punbb/viewforum.php?id=2 to see if there is a new version. At the time of writing this, 3.0.8 is in cvs, 3.0.9 is available. I don' t plan on updating to 3.0.9 - changes are minimal, fixing a bug when running tinymce in a frame, in IE...

It will be important to upgrade before releasing 2.0, though.. New versions of TinyMCE seem to come out weekly!

Version 3.0.8, along with some Moodle-specific plugins, was just added to HEAD.

Thank you Mathieu!

Just checking, did you also update spellchecker plugin tinymce_spellchecker_php_2_0_2.zip to the latest version from http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/download.php

The whole package of spellchecker files should be upgraded over previous files in lib/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/spellchecker after upgrading the main package to 3.0.8

No, I didn't ... thought I did, though, as I was testing with it...! Now it's there.

Is the version of TinyMCE in Moodle 2.0 still version 3.2.5 as indicated in the readme_moodle.txt file? There are lots of bug fixes and improvements since 3.2.5:

hello, yes it is in my "before" beta todo list, we are sorting out language string synchronisations right now, then I need to improve the integration a bit more

Bump...

TinyMCE is now in version 3.3.6 (2010-05-20) and there have been 154 (tiny) bug fixes in tinymce since the last upgrade of files of moodle to version 3.2.5 - 11 moths ago.

Is there any chance of upgrading files of tinymce before Moodle 2.0 Preview 3 release, Petr?

Safari plugin can be totally dropped from the init code - since version 3.3b1 (2010-01-25) - and current new core tinymce autosave plugin supports autosave feature that we discussed for example in http://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-18014 and http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=130005

Many of the latest bug fixes are browser dependent bugs that are visible only in some browsers like Opera or Safari - or IE
