Description

In our Moodle 1.9+ Build: 20080416 system we have a big issue if a Moodle admin (or any user assigned the Moodle admin system role) attempts to restore a backed up course. If they run the restore and attempt to restore it to either a new course OR over an existing course, the restore puts everything on the front page instead of the target course. Normal users (instructors) can restore okay.

Confirmed, happens in our Moodle 1.9 Test Environment. (SLES10 Apache 2.0, MySQL 5, PHP 5), the calender entries are a particular problem because I cannot seem to delete them.

Is this still a problem in latest 1.9.1+? There were several major improvements and bugfixing done in backup/restore since 1.9.0

HI,

if I'm not wrong this was fixed some weeks ago and should be available in latest Moodle 1.9.x+ version. Can you upgrade your 1.9+ version to latest 1.9.x+ available?

Ciao

i just checked this out in Moodle 1.9.2 (Build: 20080711) and did not have any problems restoring to a new course or existing course as an admin.
