Description

When we restore a safety copy, for example moodle v 1.8.3, in an installation with moodle v.1.8.6 or moodle v.1.9.1.,everything is restored quite correctly (obtained punctuation, attempts) but a great problem exists, at the moment of checking the attempts of the students, these neither coincide with the questions realized in the original course(moodle v.1.8.3) and the option answered by student is not indicated. Nevertheless when we check the exam (question to question) they coincide with the original course and everything proves to be quite correct.

To verify it, only it is necessary to restore a copy, to check an attempt and to update the page. Every time it update, different question are showen.

To restore a backup when the course has been deleted
? File/select the backup that you want to restore and click restore
? You find a new screen; click yes to go on restoring the backup
? Next screen shows all the information to restore that they are determinate at the moment that you did the backup. Click Continue at the bottom.
? Select the category and the backup's name and where you want to restore it.
? At the bottom, you can choose what are the information that you don't want to restore them (we don't choose anyone) and click Continue.
? Click Restore this course now!
? You will see the created objects and if have had any errors. Click Continue.
? You are now into the restored course
? Click any exam and you will see how many times the students have done the exam.
? Click the qualification of the exam
? And you will see, there isn't any reference about the question done to the students, although you have saved the qualifications. The text says: 'This question has been deleted. Please, contact on you teacher'. In any case, the answer is saved (even if the answer is bad or partially answered)
