 Description  « Hide
When I tried to update my Moodle4Mac up to Moodle 2.0 (20080917) I found the following problem. I can't get the notification page any more. The page moodle20/admin/index.php switches to the upgrade settings also after I press the button "save changes".

When I click on the link "Notifications" in the site admin menu the page is forwarding to moodle20/admin/upgradesettings.php?return=site

Could this be caused because of one typo we had in recent HEAD builds? It has been fixed in CVS some minutes ago so, if you update from there now, it could work.

Ciao

Here it's the change performed. It's pretty simple in case you want to test it.

Ciao

It's not fixed in CVS until now ... I did a CVS update 5 minutes ago with the same bad result.

Wow... installing HEAD here....

I do not know if this is another problem .... the notification page still forwards to "New settings" ...

I choose "Emal-based self-registration" and then I click on "Save s“changes". When I try to come back to the notification page everytime I get back the "New settings". It seems that the saving of the settings will not work propperly. I always get back the default setting "Disable".

Thanks Ralf! I've been able to reproduce the problem here!

Also, I'm getting some other errors (related to moodle network in that page - with debugging enabled), see MDL-16565 , so we are searching for a solution...

Thanks!

Hi Ralf,

about MDL-16565 it should be fixed in CVS now. Also, I've fixed the "Emal-based self-registration" being asked once and again and again....

I've been able to install Moodle 2.0 here perfectly now. Can you confirm is some problem remains in your side?

Ciao

Yes, it seems to run now. I will configure the next package of Moodle4Mac so everybody can get it tomorrow. If I get anything that does not work you will read it. It's nice to have friend who work very hard for Moodle

Thanks and Ciao
