Also, add user_preferences in a collapsible form to control
Whether to select a unique search match
Whether to preserve selections that do not match the search
Whether to search just the starts of names, or any substring
For reasons of sanity, these should only be added to the first selector on the page.

Nearly there. Notes to self:
Trigger a re-search when 'search anywhere in the name is toggled'.
Use these options in the JS.
