assessaggregate.html

States that Average is default. No ratings is the default.

If this intended to the indicate default for a forum that had ratings enabled before version suggested text below.

(In earlier versions of moodle this was the only rating aggregation option. This is the default aggregation method selected where ratings were enabled in a earlier version and the site has been subsequently upgraded).

"The number of rated posts becomes the final grade. This is useful when the number of posts is important. Note that the total can not exceed the maximum grade allowed for the forum."

The actual behaviour is:

The number of total number of ratings applied to posts is the grade for the forum. This is useful when the number of posts is important. Note that the total can not exceed the maximum grade allowed for the forum.

Whilst updating it would be good to change the headings so that they are the same as the itemsin the drop down list for the setting. See screenshot.

Ray, thanks for your report. I'm assuming this issue has been fixed as part of the help strings rewrite in Moodle 2. If you have any further suggested improvements, please create a new issue.
