Description
My experience has been that when a teacher reports that grades don't seem to be computing correctly, and the only way to identify the problem is to drill into each item to confirm the settings or find the variance.
The Categories and items page should contain all the information to fully compute a final grade. The current version updating this page goes a good deal of the way to this goal, but there needs to also be a display of items like minimum grade to have the computation be complete.
http://tracker.moodle.org/secure/attachment/16118/Gradebook+changes.png suggests a way to add text under an item that deviates from the defaults. An alternative would be to add features like minimum to the full view and mark those elements that deviate from the defaults in some way.
Still, the goal should be to never require drilling into an item to discover a hidden configuration change that effects a final grade computation.

I would like to submit this to community discussion before starting implementation. The idea is good, but the devil is in the details, particularly User Interface details.
