Description
To recreate:
In question bank create category and subcategory both containing questions.
Create quiz
Add a random question to be drawn from the parent category.
Click edit icon for random question
Untick checkbox with parent category selected.
Save
Re-open the random question for editing check box is ticked.
Wow! well noticed. Yes, this is broken and I can reproduce it.
It is to do with how it tells the differences between saving a new question and editing an existing one. I am out of time now, but will will try to look tomorrow.
