Description
In lesson and I assume in the 2.0 conditional activity, it is possible to make a lesson dependent upon some minimum time the student has spent in a previous lesson.
There is a count down timer in Lesson, which cuts off recording scores after a specific amount of time. There is a timer in Quiz which can be "disabled" via a permission/role setting.
The Lesson and Quiz countdown timer serves a different function from the dependency setting, which is meant to "encourage" students to stay in a Lesson or other activity before entering the next one. How are they going to know about time, wait to be rejected when they try to enter the next Lesson/activity? Not very friendly.
We need a setting to display the countdown timer without cutting off their scores. or we need different display such as an elapsed timer, Maybe a block would accomplish this for all activities, or it is one of those advanced "Common module settings".
