I have many versions of Moodlelocal hosts on this machine. Each in their own folder right off the root. I wanted to do a clean install of the latest. Downloaded the complete file, renamed the zip to Moodle194_2.zip, extracted with the Windows program to C:\. Found the start Moodle.exe, ran it. Got the usual security warning from windows, said run it. Went to my browser tried localhost. Nothing happened. So I went to setupxamp bat and ran that, nothing to do. Ran StopXammp. start apache gave me this error.

LoadModule php5_module "C:/Moodle194_2/server/apache/bin/php5apache2_2.dll" exists . When I run restart Xampp the command screen shows the error below and tells me I have some sort of stack error after that. The screen below comes when I run the apache start.bat file.

I went back to a 2007 version of 1.8 Moodle Windows Installer (2007013000) and that seems to bring up the first Install page when I used localhost. Not sure what is going on. I stoped the install at the opening page, stopped apache. I deleted the /moodle/moodle folder. I copied the Moodle194_2 /moodle folder in its place. It is now trying to installing 1.9.4 unattended

Never a dull moment and I thought I was going to make some progress today :) Chris

Looks like 194 installed. So I guess the problem is with the xampp package?
