Database activity: import function is not easy to find

Description

On the database activity page you can see an "export" tab. There is no "import" tab.
However a database import function exists but is located under the "Add entry" tab. To access to this function you need to click on "Upload entries from a file" link. This link display a form to upload your previously exported database.

Suggestions:

  • we could change wording
  • we could change the location.
  • the link could also be better as a button.
  • the "upload/import" form could be directly display on this page, the page is not big enough to force one more click and it make it more difficult to find the functionality.

There shouldn't be an additional tab for imports so I'm in favor of just renaming the existing "Add entry" to something like "Add/Import Entries".

The link itself on that tab should be more prominent, though.

Just updating this issue 18 months on...

The import feature is no longer located in the 'Add entry' tab but is instead a link in the settings block > Database activity administration > Import.

How about we reduce the number of tabs and remove the export tab as this is also to be found in the settings block?
