Description

I have a problem with the way in which auto-linked resources are opening in my version of moodle. I have the Activity Names Auto-linking text filter enabled and the Filter settings set to filter uploaded HTML files.

In the attached example, in the first image the mouse is hovering over an auto-link which actually points to a quiz resource. When clicked, the quiz opens up inside the embedded area that the uploaded HTML document was occupying rather than the _top level window. This leads to the "double banner" as illustrated in image 2 which is obviously very ugly and undesirable. It was suggested to me that this is a bug. Is there no way to force the filter to insert a link which opens the activity in the _top target for the frame/page. Incidentally, I tried on the latest version of moodle to use Frames as opposed to embedding via an <object> tag. The same problem occurs. I have a feeling this one may have occurred for some years.
