Dear Moodle Folks,

I am trying to "reload" a zipped IMS Content Package, but am receiving an XSLT library error.

Do I need to install something to get this to work?

Is the fact that my Environment is saying I need Unicode checked (which is in red) the reason this error is showing?

I did upload some Moodle courses from a Moodle install on a non-Unicode compliant SQL database - would this have made the Moodle 1.8 database uncompliant - as it was a fresh install?

Is there a button in Moodle 1.8 I can click to make the database Unicode compliant?

Sorry for my ignorance - as it is not very blissful at this point. A million thank you's again for your help!

Best Regards,

Bob Scheele

NOTE: This issue is separate from my other posted upgrade issue ( MDL-9926 ) that I also just posted, as I this problem is on a completely new install of Moodle that I did to try and see if there if I could get this IMS Content Package upload working.

when upgrading php to > 5 moodle continues to look for xslt when importing scorms and errors since this is not available in php5 and is included in the xml library. If there is a work around, it should be posted such that it appears when one searches for XSLT

Hi Scott,

I'm not sure what you're trying to say - the blackboard import requires the XSL libs - if you don't have them installed, it won't work.

are you saying there's something wrong with the error message? - or the moodledocs somewhere?
