Description

I log into my program with my user name & password. I click on my name in the American History course. I arrive at my profile. I click on participant and and see the message you don't have permission to use this feature.

"Sorry, but you do not currently have permissions to do that (View participants)"

But I am the owner of the program I bought it and am the only one using it. Why can't I have permission to do whatever I want? I can't even add new students. I am listed as teacher . Shouldn't I have administrator and teacher rights?

Hi George,

couple questions with this issue:

1. did you set yourself (role) as a teacher.
2. did you edit "teacher role" permission and dis-allowed them to "view participant".
3. could you login as admin and try to modify the teacher role to have permission to add new students and view participants?

Hi George,

If you're still having trouble please ask for help in the forums on moodle.org - Moodle is free to download and use, however if you've paid something to use your Moodle install it's highly likely you have paid for someone to install/host this for you - you could also contact the people you have paid for further help.
