This is a meta bug for the GSOC'09 project Improve Moodle User Experience Consistency.
http://docs.moodle.org/en/Development:Usability/Improve_Moodle_User_Experience_Consistency

Subtasks simply link to subheadings in http://docs.moodle.org/en/Development:Usability/Improve_Moodle_User_Experience_Consistency/Detailed_project_plan

This could have been addded to Moodle.org Sites but I felt it still has more to do with the development of Moodle itself than with the goals of any of the Sites, as it aims to have an effect on Moodle's development and ultimately, concrete code.

The patch at MDL-19441 is the result of usability testing and redesigning the forgotten password form.

MDL-20050 has another implemented patch, to make the login form fill user expectations learned from other web applications: location of the forgotten password element, and the fact that it needs to be a link since it is navigation and clicking it has no immediate effect. Also usability tested with positive results.
