Moodle shows little orange "RSS" image links to RSS feeds for both the entire set of forums, as well as within each specific forum.
These feeds are not properly linked to the HTML page using a <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" ...> tag in the page <head>.
Amongst other problems (search indexing, etc), this means that the browser does not recognize these feeds and automatically offer access/subscription to them
through whatever subscription mechanisms the user has configured natively within the browser, or via plugins or operating system support.
