There are thirty-two settings in the user profile, in four groups:

• General
• Picture of
• Interests
• Optional

Finding a single option (e.g., to receive plain text email instead of HTML) requires either searching or reading every option in sequence.

Why it matters

"Picture of" and "Interests" are good category names; "General" and "Optional" are not. Users have no way of skipping to a group of options they may be interested in, like email.

Possible solution

Options should be categorized better.
