Description

When a user answers a quiz question the page reloads with either "Correct" in a green box or "Incorrect" in a red box.

Why it matters

It's not immediately clear to a blind user that this refers to their answer. Green and red are strong signals to most sighted users, and that helps them form the association. For blind users it's just one more word.

Possible solution

"Your answer was correct."

Again, I hope I have solved this in my question engine rewrite, so I won't change anything in Moodle 2.0.

Hopefully this issue has been resolved, or at least made very much better, now that MDL-20636 has been integrated.

The current status of the question is now clearly displayed in the HTML just after the question number, and hopefully when the page reloads after submitting a question, focus is taken to the start of the question using an anchor.

I would be very pleased of the new question code could be tested with screen-reader users at some point.
