Description

No user understood what these two links did. Some users interpreted them as breadcrumbs, some could not guess even after using them.

Why it matters

This control is near the top of the page, and unless skipped it's read on nearly every page inside a course. Screen reader users quickly learned to avoid the jump menu; these two links were quickly treated as cruft and ignored by all users.

Possible solution

If the feature is valuable to non-blind users, consider putting it in the bottom of the page source and using CSS to place it at the top. Sighted users will receive the same benefit, and screen reader users won't trip over it as often.

The link to previous and next activity has been removed in 2.0

I tested in qa.moodle.net and my local machine by creating multiple lesson and quiz activities for the course. The previous and/or next activity links are no longer exist.
