Description

When a course creator adds a new course, the drop-down for "Default role" contains only the site default. Having created the course, upon returning to the Settings form, the drop-down now contains all the other roles.

This doesn't seem to be a permissions issue, as the default role can still be assigned by course creators, they just have to go about it the long way.

The problem here is that the course creator gets the teacher role right after the course is created. I doubt there is any easy technical solution, sorry.

Thanks for reporting this issue.

We have detected that this issue has been inactive for over a year has been recorded as affecting versions that are no longer supported.

If you believe that this issue is still relevant to current versions (2.1 and beyond), please comment on the issue. Issues left inactive for a further month will be closed.
