Description

Here is the info on their web services:

http://taste.merlot.org/merlottechnology.html#webservices

For simple search, it's a very simple REST interface:

http://taste.merlot.org/MERLOTSimpleMaterialSearchWebService_v1_3.pdf

So it shouldn't be hard.

The main thing is that each user (Moodle site) needs to get a license key from Merlot. I've already applied for a test key from merlot.org. They say it'll take up to three days because currently it's still a manual process.

I tried the license key today, I got an error:
<invalid>License Key Invalid</invalid>

Not sure what is the matter, I applied another one, will try tomorrow

just got a License key from Merlot, added the web service to my Moodle
and i can not access it from the course nor anywhere else i have an ADD
button, in which i can see all the other enabled plugins and repositories.

Is it a bug? or am i missing some important setting.

Just found out it is visible/accessable when using a resource type: "link"
I think it should be visibale everywhere.
