Description

Would be great to allow course sticky blocks to be defined at a category level, i.e. each different category can have different sticky blocks. Have seen several instances where categories are used to represent different faculties which in turn have different desires in terms of the enforced information being shown within their courses. All thoughts welcome

This is already implemented in Moodle 2.0. Just add a block when viewing a category, and then go into the settings for it and

  • turn on stickiness
  • specify which page types it should appear on (use "*" for all)

We are looking for nicer ways to do the above if you think of any!
