It might be good to have a document format type. What do you think of the patch?

I think we should have that, as well as a portfolio_format_pdf class too. Do you want to add that? After that I think it can be committed.

Commited these changes. There is still an outstanding issue with pdfs and the google api. I think I need to update to using a newer version of the API for pdf import support.

ahem. i forgot to mention language strings. there should be entries for format_* in lang/*/portfolio.php

I'll add it in later unless you want to do it first.

In the case where there is more than one format supported by both the caller and the portfolio plugin, the user is presented with a list of different formats to choose from. This will become more important as more formats are added, and will start to be noticed soon with the LEAP2A work I'm doing, once it lands.
