uploading png files with wiki

Description

I have been encouraging students to use the png image file format instead of gif. Had a problem attaching a png graphics file to a wiki. Seemed start uploading but nothing happened. Was able to later convert the same file to a jpg object, upload and successfully attach to the Wiki entry so suspect it has something to do with Moodle.

Using eWiki I noticed that files over 64 Kb don't seem to be uploaded correctly when uploaded directly from the editing page form, but work a bit better when uploaded via the Attachments tab. In general, the attachments in eWiki are a mess

Thanks for reporting this issue.

We have detected that this issue has been inactive for over a year has been recorded as affecting versions that are no longer supported.
