When creating users or courses you are more or less forced to use the enrolment mechanisms predefined default settings. This is particularly true when using an automated process such as an enrolment plugin and also true when using an autometed course creation mechanism such as the IMS Enterprise enrolment mechanism. It would be really useful if we could have some way to define our default site settings for users and define some category default settings for courses. I have suggested a way we may do this in:
