Description
I'd like to be able to have the front page look different depending on whether folks are logged in or not.
Those not logged in should see a limited set of information, while those that are logged in would see more.
This would probably be similiar to my moodle, which I must confess I haven't experimented as much with.
more specifically I think I would like non-logged in folks to see just a screen with a welcome message and the ability to login or create a login.
After logging in, they should see the calendar and courses, categories and the rest of the information (as selected by the admin)
Thanks!

Ken,
After reading your feature request here, I think Moodle 1.6 does what you want! Change your Site settings so that only a topic section is shown. In that section you could put that limited information. Set moodle so that it redirects logged in users to their MyMoodle page. You can customize it with different blocks.
I'm going to close this request for now. If I have misunderstood your request, please re-open it and I'll try again
