Description

My English teachers complain that they cannot assign Emily Dickinson and the Hancock family is not happy about what is happening to their name with the current filter. Is there a way to improve this so that it is more sensitive to such situations? I liked the idea of a good word list. If a bad word is on the good word list then it can be changed back. This would seem to be fairly easy to implement.

I'd switch the filter off and introduce a policy and punishments for swearing

This is actually what we opted for; however, I do like the option of having a good word list especially for an elementary school environment.

Martin, isn't there a way to simply tell the word censor to select only whole words? As it is now, it finds offensive language in parts of words like Hancock. Without this feature, the Word filter must be turned off because it becomes bothersome.
