I turned on the new statistics when I installed our 1.6 based site and after a month I started getting alerts from the server. I finally looked close and found the stats daily was over 21GB. Seems a little too big.

I've shut off stats.

This needs a max setting of some form.

I also need to find out how to delete that 21 gigs
