Description

Current 1.6.2 Lesson dependency settings are based on time, score and completion. However, completion is based upon question evaluation. If the previous lesson has no questions, the completion criterion can not be met by a student.

It would be nice to allowed the teacher have an option that says if a student reaches the "congratulations" screen at the end of a lesson, they have completed the lesson. They may not have passed it, but they completed it.

Current work around is to set dependency to 1 minute.

I am hoping that some kind of standard dependency is built into a course in future versions of Moodle. Something like Activity Locking which works on more than just Lessons. In any event, this improvement should fit into that schema.

There has been some discussion in the Lesson forum on this.

This will be resolved with Moodle 2.0 and the conditional settings. One of the tools is to set the conditions for which an activity will be counted as complete. This is exactly what this MDL is asking for.
