Description

Description:
Course in topics format, AJAX and Javascript enabled in users profile.
Browser Internet: Internet Explorer version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519
SO: win XP sp2

When editing teacher ,admins or course creators click on "Turn editing on" button, the page is displayed containing only header and footer. IE shows the following JS error:
Row: 138
Error: Invalid argument
Code 0
URL: http://domain.tld/moodle/view.php?id=xx

The problem does not appear in IE when:

  • using another course format, such as weekly format (with AJAX enabled in user's profile)
  • disabling AJAX in user's profile

When using FireFox, the problem does not appear whichever course format you select.

If needed, I can provide URL and credentials to login and test the problem.

Hello Yy. Just checked out your updates and applied to teh site. Now IE shows the page with editing on also when using Ajax in user profile but AJAX drag and drop does nott seesm to work. Also, the legacy non-Ajax arrows to move blocks and activities appears even with Ajax enabled.

IE also shows a JS error:
Row: 592
Char: 3
Error: 'main.portal' null or not an object
Code 0
