Description

The problem occurs when a student in a particluar course tries to click on the new event button. Enters all details and then submits, which lands up in a blank page with the error "Page not found" URL reading "http://localhost/academy/calendar/event.php"

Is there something i am missing?

Please fix you configuration in config.php, your $CFG->wwwroot must be fixed URL address other than localhost.

I am sorry i forgot to mention, the localhost was just to avoid posting the ip address here, but apparently i had used a ip address and it is not a problem of the config... the config points to a classifed ip address and the page was opened on a remote desktop and i think this is a problem that after a student enters the event and submits it the page goes blank.

The above comment should give you an idea that the www root is not the problem, the problem is somewhere else as the file location is not being found however this is not the case when the admin user creates a event. So i presume this is something to do with the role in which the user is.

sorry, I think I hit the same bug in the meantime, I think this is a dupe of MDL-7297.

Tested in HEAD by adding new entry. No blank page displayed as expected. Now closed.
