Description

Very often user want to subcribe only to the particular discussions instead of the whole forum. Its particulary true for the problem-related forum in courses, or to the problem forums on the main moodle site, full reports from where can flood e-mail box.
Teacher also may want to receive messages only from his students from group, not from all students in the course.

Assigning to me temporarily because Vy-Shane no longer works for Moodle HQ.

Thanks Tim, but I think such general "guidance" is at best unhelpful! The original query (if such it was) was raised over 4 years ago (almost one of the FIRST few hundred issues raised and recorded here). I can see no resolution of the matter and I have today finally unsubscribed from all Forums as a result of the continuing "problem". Your comment seems to suggest that I should have filed my comment under "B" for "Bin", attached to a dusty old issue that noone is interested in? Maybe that's the function of this place - to keep a record of all the user issues no-one's interested in so that you can get on with your work? All the best with your successfull endeavours, but please dish out your admonitions a little more softly or maybe not at all.
