Drag&Drop course - delete a resource does not work

Description

When I want to delete a resource, a dialog opens with the question, if I want to delete resource 8. I click ok and the resource entry disapears from the course. After I turn editing off the resource entry is displayed in it's old place again.

Hi Urs,

This seems to work for me in 1.8 dev. Are you still seeing the same problem?

I think there was a similar issue that was fixed as part of MDL-7563 which involved problems with case sensitivity in HTTP method names.

We are still experiencing problems of this nature. All other editing options work fine but as comment says in 1.7 after deleting it either reaapears with refresh or freezes and crashes moodle. Have I missed the fix or is it still being worked on?

Deletion of resources is currently broken for IE 6 and 7. Should work fine in Firefox.

Let's track this in MDL-8287.

We are using version 1.8, just released, and we found this same problem: I tried cancelling a repeated instance of a resource, it seems to disapear, but after turning editing off, it is happily here again.

We use Firerfox 2.0.0.3, but I don't think that matters. By the way, IE 7.0.5730.11 doesn't help either.

Any hint as to what tables should be used to delete the resource by hand?

I am also still having this issue, even with the later builds (I tried a new build last week with no luck). Do we know how to resolve this, and if so, is there any way I can get the fix, if it's not just in newer code? I'll continue to update my server regularly in hopes that it's fixed.
